Experience You Can Trust!
Laminate US was founded in 2001 as Laminates "R" Us, Inc. with just $900 of initial investment from the founder's personal savings account. From those humble beginnings, our company has grown to become the nations largest flooring company, and one of the top 50 privately owned remodeling companies in the United States.

Starting in January of 2006, Laminates "R" Us underwent a transformation. Expanding throughout our home state of Florida, the choice was made to continue the expansion into other parts of America - becoming the first coast-to-coast Laminate Flooring company in the United States with our location in Los Angeles, CA. Shortly thereafter, we introduced our Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX and Houston, TX locations to rave reviews.

The key to our success was simple - give our customers what we advertise, and do it at the high level of workmanship that they expect. We accomplish this by offering the best products on the market from the highest rated manufacturers in the World, installed by the best installers in the country!

Throughout the expansion, our company grew extremely quickly, which caught the attention of national magazines such as Entrepreneur Magazine, Qualified Remodeler and Inc. Magazine, who showered our company with awards and praise.

From our quality products, to the expertise of our associates, to the national recognition our company has received, Laminate US truly has the experience you can trust!

Laminate Wood Flooring was invented in the mid-1970's as a low-cost, low maintenance, extremely durable alternative to the more delicate and expensive hardwoods. The strength of Laminate Wood Flooring comes from the extremely strong, space-age materials used, and the quality of manufacturing.

All high quality laminate is based on four basic layers. Just like your home, a Laminate Wood Floor is only as strong as its foundation. The foundation of the laminate is its strong melamine balancer layer that keeps the product from warping, and also protects the laminate from moisture damage from underneath.

The second layer is the core of the product. This gives the Laminate Wood Floor its pressure resistance. All products carried by Laminate US can withstand pressures of almost 2 tons per square inch!

Once the core has been produced under extreme heat and pressure, the decor layer (or photo layer) is then adhered to the top of the core. Even though Laminate Wood Flooring looks like wood, it is actually a brilliant picture of wood grain! This allows the manufacturer to produce virtually any tone of hardwood, or even tile!

Once the product is produced, a durable wear layer is bonded to the product. This makes the flooring resistant to scratching, staining, wearing and even fading with UV A&B protection!

Engineered Hardwood Flooring is actually a hybrid between Laminate Wood Flooring and Hardwood Flooring! Whereas Laminate Wood Flooring uses a decor layer, which is just a photo of a hardwood grain, Engineered Hardwood uses an actual Hardwood veneer which is bonded to a rigid core, and finished with a durable wear layer, similar to that of Laminate Wood Flooring. This process is very similar to the process used for new "antique" furniture.

Maintenance is also easier with Engineered Hardwood Flooring than a Hardwood Floor. There is no need to sand, no need to create an unneeded mess! With Engineered Hardwood Flooring, all you need is to "screen" the flooring every 7-10 years. Through screening, the surface of the flooring is made rough, so that a new layer of sealants and polyurethane can be applied.
